Frances Morris
Frances Morris was born and grew up in the island town of Enniskillen. She has been painting since her early childhood and graduated from the Belfast College of Art in the sixties. Throughout her artistic career she has progressed from teaching art, making her unique fantasy porcelain sculptures, painting exotic flower studies, to her real love – painting Irish landscapes.
Frances has returned from living in England to live and work, a stones throw from where she was born. Her widely acclaimed work has been exhibited in London, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast and New York, has been featured on T.V. and can be found in many public and private collections. Her Studio is in The Buttermarket Craft and Design Centre, Enniskillen.
In recent years, Frances has widened her horizons. Her latest exhibition was of paintings from the French Riviera and Venice and her latest project was the transformation of the cottage in Belleek into the unique holiday home “Coole Cottage”.
