Belleek

The cottage is a short walk from the world renowned Belleek Pottery, home of the famous translucent Parian China, and just 250 metres away from the colourful village of Belleek which has a variety of shops, authentic Irish pubs, a hotel, restaurants and a Post Office.

The region is internationally renowned for fishing with game (trout and salmon) and course angling on Fermanagh’s rivers and lakes and sea fishing on the nearby Atlantic coastline. Other activities available nearby include day cruisers, boat and bicycle hire, watersports on lake and sea, horseriding and golfing, hill climbing and walking tours.

The village lies on the borders of Fermanagh and Donegal with easy access to the beautiful Fermanagh Lakelands, the rugged coast and sandy beaches of Donegal, and Leitrim, the “Wild Rose” county. Sligo, the birthplace and inspiration for the work of poet W.B.Yeats, is less than half an hour away. Mayo and Galway are further to the south.

Belleek is an easily accessible destination from all major air and seaports, including Belfast and Dublin. Car hire is easily arranged locally or from airports.
